SN63 PB37 Solder Bars
This is a eutectic alloy with a melting point of 183°C. Typical applications are wave soldering, plating, where 63/37 is primarily used as a coating for corrosion protection, as as a base for soldering.
Interflux‘s Bar Solder is processed in a proprietary method that removes dirt and reduces dissolved oxides to a minimum. The result of this is a lower drossing rate, as well as a decrease of defects per board while using either no clean or water soluble flux chemistries.
Bar Solder also offers a lower surface tension than many competitive brands, which results in stronger capillary action. This allows faster barrel fill and better wetting in cases where fine pitch spacing and close or high pin count connectors are used.
Solder fillets are bright and shiny, and offer fine grain structure and appearance. The result is excellent lead-wetting, superior joint strength, and excellent joint aesthetics.
