Katpon Tape, also known as Gold Finger Tape or Polyimide Tape, is made from polyimide film coated with a high-performance silicone adhesive on one side. This tape has a temperature resistance of 250-300°C and features a precise coating of ±2.5 µm. It is scratch-resistant, easy to cut, and offers excellent high-temperature and solvent resistance.

Length we offer is 33 meters, with widths options of 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm 16 mm, 20 mm, 34 mm and 50 mm.

Ideal for high-temperature applications, Katpon Tape is commonly used for:

  • Insulation and binding of H-class motor and transformer coils.
  • High-temperature coil ends, thermal protection, and wire insulation.
  • SMT and PCB protection, particularly during wave soldering and gold finger protection.

The tape is halogen-free, RoHS compliant, and leaves no adhesive residue after removal, ensuring clean and reliable performance.
