The Hakko FR-702 Rework Station is a powerful professional 4-in-1 rework system designed to provide soldering, desoldering and hot-air rework capabilities in a single compact bench-top unit. It is suited to demanding electronics manufacturing, PCB repair, component replacement and rework applications.
The FR-702 combines a 65W soldering system, 140W desoldering system and hot-air system into one integrated platform. The station also features two soldering ports, allowing a range of Hakko handpieces to be used according to the application.
The soldering section provides a temperature range of 50?480degC, while the desoldering system operates from 330?450°C and incorporates a powerful diaphragm vacuum pump capable of approximately 80kPa vacuum pressure and 15L/min suction flow. The hot-air section provides a temperature range of 50?600°C with adjustable airflow.
The FR-702 is designed to maximise bench space while providing the flexibility of several individual rework systems. The hot-air function includes a standard vacuum capability, making it suitable for component removal and handling during SMD rework. Optional handpieces can further expand the system's capabilities.
The FR-702 soldering section provides precise temperature control from 50?480degC with approximately +-1degC temperature stability at no load when operating between 200 and 480degC.
The supplied FX-8801 soldering iron uses a 65W ceramic heater and is compatible with Hakko T18 Series soldering tips. Additional compatible handpieces can be connected to the station's available ports for specialised soldering applications.
Desoldering Function
The supplied FR-4103 includes an N61-05, 1.0mm S-type nozzle, with additional N61 Series nozzles available for different applications.
Hot-Air Rework Function
The station is supplied with an N51-02, 4.0mm hot-air nozzle, while additional N51 Series nozzles can be selected for different component sizes and applications.
