The Hakko FX-100 Soldering Station is a high-performance professional soldering system featuring Hakko's advanced high-frequency induction heating (IH) technology. Designed for demanding electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, repair and rework applications, the FX-100 delivers excellent thermal performance, particularly when working with high-density and multilayer PCBs.

Unlike conventional resistance-heated soldering stations, the FX-100 uses induction heating to heat the soldering tip directly. This allows the tip to deliver strong thermal performance even when using smaller tip geometries, making the station suitable for applications ranging from high thermal-load soldering through to precision work under a microscope.

The FX-100 incorporates Hakko's Power Assist function, which monitors the RF output and detects temperature drops at the tip during soldering. The station automatically increases output to help the tip recover quickly, supporting consistent soldering performance and efficient heat transfer.

The system also eliminates the need for conventional temperature calibration. The required soldering temperature is determined by the selected T31 Series tip, with available tip temperatures of 350degC, 400degC and 450degC.

Compatible Soldering Tips

The supplied FX-1001 soldering iron uses Hakko T31 Series soldering tips. Tip temperature is determined by the selected tip series rather than a conventional station temperature setting.

The FX-100 can also be expanded with optional FX-1002 Micro Soldering Iron and FX-1003 Micro Hot Tweezers for specialised soldering and SMD rework applications.
