The Hakko FX-838 High Power Soldering Station is a professional 150W soldering system designed for demanding electronics manufacturing, repair and rework applications. With its high heat capacity and excellent thermal recovery, the FX-838 is suitable for soldering large components, power supply boards, heat sinks, shield cases and multilayer PCBs, while also providing the control required for fine components.

Operating from a 27V AC low-voltage output, the FX-838 delivers 150W of soldering power while maintaining precise temperature control across a 200 - 500degC range. Its ceramic heating element and integrated heater design provide efficient heat transfer and fast recovery during demanding soldering operations.

The FX-838 allows operators to work at lower set temperatures while maintaining strong thermal performance. This can help reduce soldering time and minimise thermal stress on components and workpieces. Three frequently used temperatures can also be preset for quick access during repetitive soldering operations.

The station is compatible with Hakko T20 Series soldering tips, offering a wide selection of tip shapes for applications ranging from high-power soldering to fine-pitch and micro-component work. Soldering tips are not included and are available separately.
