The HAKKO FX-888DX Digital Soldering Station improves the user interface from the FX-888D using a more intuitive method for adjusting temperature and includes a parameter lock to prevent accidental digital calibration of the station when attempting to change temperature.

Changing the temperature
The FX-888DX uses a rotary encoder to change and set the temperature. Simply turn the knob left or right to adjust up or down and press to set.
The station can also store up to five preset temperatures.
