Combining all around capability with outstanding value for money, the iico is perfect for low to medium-volume, high-mix production. iico can place 0201s to the largest QFPs on the market, as well as components that cannot be handled by conventional vacuum nozzles, the system incorporates a high level of flexibility rarely found in low-cost solutions.
The machine head includes a 8 position rotary turret on an X/Y gantry utilising on the fly vision, it maintains high placement rates even on boards with a wide range of components. As with all Europlacer systems the iico features unrivalled flexibility including a standard feeder capacity of 198 x 8mm tapes in addition to an area for matrix trays. iico can be optionally fitted with an adhesive dispenser.
The Europlacer iico can place a variety of components, including chips, MELFs, electrolytic capacitors, SO, PLCC, QFP, QFN, TSOP, BGA, µBGA, LGA, CSP, connectors and odd-form SMDs, and can place from a minimum of 0.5 x 0.25 mm (0201) to 50 x 50 mm as standard
iico incorporates Europlacers innovative intelligent feeder technology enabling rapid product set-up and changeover as well as advance warning of component run outs to help maintain high efficiency production. This includes the ability to load feeders anywhere on the machine which automatically recognises them and optimising the program accordingly, a very useful feature particularly for small batch runs.
iico is compatible with our new ii-Feed system and with other current machines in the Europlacer range and is built to Europlacers high standards. Smart nozzles can be placed anywhere in the 40 position nozzle bank adding to overall efficiency. Machine include the innovative Adaptive Positioning System called 3DPS that is used to optimise picking and placement of components.
